Stamp concrete

Stamped concrete is a methodology imparted to freshly laid concrete to achieve patterned and/or textured or embossed looks to resemble brick, slate, flagstone, stone, tile, wood etc. Stamped concrete is commonly used for patios, sidewalks, driveways, pool decks, and interior flooring. The ability of stamped concrete to resemble other building materials makes stamped concrete a less expensive alternative to using those other authentic materials such as stone, slate or brick.

   Sand wash finish

When concrete is sand finished, it can take on a smooth, glassy veneer, which resembles the hard sand at ocean beaches when a wave recedes.

c Exposed aggregate

Exposed aggregate concrete is a form of decorative concrete achieved by removing the top layer of cement paste and revealing the underlying aggregate. The decorative aggregate now becomes a very durable, skid-resistant surface that is great for sidewalks, driveways, pool decks, and patios.

Advantages Of Exposed Aggregate Concrete:

  • The surface is strong, skid-resistant, wears very well, and handles all kinds of extreme weather.
  • Many types of aggregates are available, large and small, colored, round, plus many, many more.
  • Blends well with other decorative concrete.
  • Requires very little maintenance other than occasional cleaning with water and re-sealing every few years.

   Polish concrete

Polished concrete is a form of sustainable design flooring, as it utilizes a material that has already been placed. Polished concrete floors are low maintenance, as they are durable and easy to clean. Its high coefficient of friction can make it non-slippery. Polished concrete flooring is hard wearing and will not chip or dent like softer surfaces such as timber and tiles. Polished concrete is easily maintained with the use of clean water or a neutral balance pH cleaner. There are also many cleaners designed for the proper maintenance of polished concrete available. There is never a need for wax to be added as it will only dull the finish. A concrete floor that has been hardened and polished will have an extremely long-life expectancy compared to other flooring types.

   Vertical stamping

This looks like a paint roller, but has a semi-rigid polyurethane rubber roller head that imparts relief and texture into the surface as the roller moves across the vertical stamp mix.

   Ferrocrete

Ferrocrete is a form of reinforced concrete using closely spaced multiple layers of mesh and/or small diameter rods completely infiltrated with, or encapsulated in, mortar • synthetic compound composed of a mix of metallic alloys, ceramic polymers and stone • has high density and ability to stand for thousands of years once set in a wide variety of climates and environmental factors • concrete and iron that was molecularly bonded to produce a substance with exceptional resistance to wear and tear Ferrocement - The major advantages of ferrocement construction are: • the structures are thin and light, • can be easily precast • are amenable to repairs in case of local damage.
